Reptile Rescue
While not a dedicated reptile rescue, RASP does take in reptiles and amphibians - as member time, space, and money allow. We will also adopt out herps, once they are healthy. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we can take in any and all animals, but even if we can't take the animal in, we can provide space on this website, Yahoogroup, and Facebook, to post the animal for placement.
If someone finds an escaped reptile that is not native to Pennsylvania on the loose, RASP will come to catch and secure the animal. RASP provides this service to the greater Pittsburgh area, to be an example of responsible reptile and amphibian ownership.

Reptile Relocation
Have you found a native reptile or amphibian on your property that you don't want there? While RASP would prefer to counsel the public on the role that native reptiles and amphibians play in even our suburban and urban environments, still, RASP will come to relocate native species from yards to the nearest local habitat, particularly when people are threatening to harass or kill them.
